An AMAZING lunch in the LEGENDARY Empire with a bunch of WONDERFUL bloggers.

Empire, one of the leading chain restaurants of Bangalore, has recently made its presence in the Bannerghatta Road. This branch, surely stands apart from rest of its branches, with spectacular interiors, complete state-of-art look, and comfortable and airy seating arrangement in the garden area as well. Having both, ala-carte & buffet meals, it is a perfect place to dine in and savour delicious food.

Empire is celebrating 50 golden years, since its inception in 1966. Over the years, it has seen remarkable growth and has established itself as a must visit restaurant in Bangalore. It’s a heaven for meat lovers, where one can get delectable food with good quality at the best price.

Location –

Situated at a prime location on the Bannerghatta Road, it is very easy to locate – in the lane just opposite to the “Spar Hyper Market”..

Ambience –

The mesmerizing royal wooden interiors & huge chandeliers makes this newly opened restaurant, surely stand apart from rest of its branches. It has spectacular vintage type interiors, complete state-of-art look, and comfortable and airy seating arrangement in the garden area as well. The juice counters are right at the entrance and the entire arrangement is very cozy with the buffet food spread at one end, and open garden area at the other end. With the hosting capacity of 250 people at a time, the open air dining in the garden area is the most interesting part of it..

Service –

Skilled service and friendly staff is the key feature of Empire. As an added feature, they have introduced “quick-action in one minute” wherein they make sure that the customer is well greeted, attended promptly(within a minute) and the food quality meets the expectation of the customer.

Food –

Empire, usually has the meat-lovers flocking to their outlets for their scrumptious dishes. But they also have a surprisingly delicious menu for vegetarians as well. The menu features many Indian favourites, including delicious starters such as babycorn manchurian, paneer chilli dry, gobi manchurian, mutton brain dry, chilli kebab, tandoori chicken and prawns, and seekh kebab. For mains, choose from mutton kurma, butter chicken, and hyderabadi chicken or biryanis, accompanied by raita. They have a wide array of juices and desserts as well.

Welcome Drinks –

We were welcomed with refreshing lime mint cooler & pinacolada.

The pinacolada was amazing with a distinct pineapple flavour.

Lime mint cooler was pretty good as expected.

Shorba –

If you wish to relish the true Indian flavors, then chicken shorba & tomato shorba are a must. They are quite rich, tangy and flavorful to satisfy the taste-buds along with the health benefits.

Starters –

Among the starters, chilli chicken was marvellous, prawns were incredible, mutton brain dry was splendid.

Chicken kebab, babycorn manchurian and paneer chilli were pretty good.

In fact, all the starters were tasting perfect and it is really hard to resist any of these.

Gravies –

In the gravies, mutton korma and palak paneer were amazing.

Butter chicken was a little sweeter and Hyderabadi chicken was mesmerizing with the authentic Hyderabadi flavors.

The presentation of each dish was incredibly tempting and tantalizing.

Breads / Rotis –

Along with the gravies, we had butter kulcha, coin paratha & romali roti, all of which were pretty good.

Coin parathas are simply perfect to go with any gravy.

Butter kulcha was flavorsome, rich and pretty soft.

Biryani & Rice –

Rice lovers had the option of veg biryani, shadi ki biryani, mutton raan biryani and grilled chicken biryani, all of which were accompanied by raita.

While their ghee rice was really good, varieties of the biryanis will amaze you. Even the jeera rice tasted perfect to go with the dal tadka.

Juices & Milkshakes –

Among the wide array of fresh juices, I loved the kiwi colada. It was perfectly blended to a very rich consistency. It is quite thick and sure hard to be consumed by one person.

Whether it’s a mexican soda or mixed mocktail falooda or dry fruit shake or mint soda, I am sure you are gonna love all of them.

Desserts –

To end on a sweet note, the ice-creams were extravagantly presented in a pineapple & watermelon boat. The exquisite presentation is sure to steal everyone’s heart.

Overall Experience –

It was a memorable afternoon with fellow bloggers and excellent food. A hearty thanks to the entire team of Empire for hosting us, specially their Chief Marketing Officer,Ruhhi Siingh, who organized this perfect afternoon. I would certainly recommend Empire as a great place to visit and savor delectable food with your family and friends.
