Paneer Chilly

Ingredients –

  • Paneer – 200 gms ( 1″ cubes)
  • Capsicum – ½ cup (diced)
  • Onion – ½ cup (diced)
  • Cornflour – 2 tsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tsp
  • Chilli sauce – 4 tsp
  • Vinegar – 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1/2  tsp
  • Ajinomoto – 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Green chili – 1 tsp (chopped vertically)
  • Spring Onion greens – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Garlic – 2 tsp (chopped)
  • Salt – as needed
  • Oil – to deep fry
  • Egg – 1

Procedure –

  • Marinate paneer with ginger garlic paste, all sauces, pepper powder, ajinomoto, salt, egg and cornflour.
  • Deep fry and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a wok, add chopped garlic, capsicum, onion, green chilli and saute, then add soya sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto, pepper powder and cornflour paste (only for gravy). 
  • Cook until thick, add fried paneer. Stir and remove. 
  • Sprinkle spring onions and serve hot.
